Originally designed by Harold Zook in 1948, this 3,000 square foot Pasadena home underwent a comprehensive renovation that included all new terrazzo floors. The kitchen, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms were completely remodeled, with custom cabinetry and built-ins throughout the house.
The renovation included a complete restoration of the overhanging eaves and cantilevered canopies, recreating Zook’s original design. The architect also reconfigured additions made in the 1990s to be more compatible with the original design. These restorations led to designation of the home as a landmark by the Pasadena Historic Preservation Commission.
