Bronstruction, along with Dake Wilson Architects, revitalized an iconic Boyd Georgi house which was designed and built by Georgi as his personal residence.
The entire home was stripped down to the studs and rebuilt, integrating the original design and updating it in the process. The cabinetry and built-ins were redesigned in Vertical Grain Douglas Fir and expanded upon. The Cedar cladding used in both the interior and exterior was refabricated to the original specifications. Finally, the doors and windows were replaced with thermally broken units, which along with new insulation, brought the thermal efficiency up to current standards- a priority for the client.
